Oatmeal Cookies
Servings: Makes 12 cookies
Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
2. In a mixing bowl, use a hand mixer with whisk attachments to cream together shortening, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 5-7 minutes on medium speed until light and fluffy.
3. Add the water, sunflower oil, and vanilla extract to the same bowl and mix on low speed for 3 minutes.
4. In a separate small bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and Bioalbumen®. Mix well to homogenize the dry mixture.
5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredient bowl and mix on low speed for 3-4 minutes.
6. Scoop 50-60g balls of dough onto a parchment-lined pan.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
8. Remove cookies from pan and allow to cool completely before storage. Store in an airtight container and freeze or enjoy within 4 days of baking.
